x = 2

y = 4

Explanation:

Your required to use standard form which is ax + by = c

To find x, you must plug in 0 for y in which you get 2. ( 12 x 2 = 24 )

You do the similar thing for finding y. You plug in 0 for x and you get 4 as y. ( 6 x 4 = 24 )
