If gallium and oxygen chemically react to form a compound, what would be thecorrect formula of the resulting compound and would it be classified as molecular orionic?

4Ga + 3O2 = 2Ga2O3

So when gallium reacts with oxygen a compound formed if Ga2O3, and this compound is ionic.
