In order to find the value of y when x = -1. in the given equations,

we put or substiture the value of x = 1 into the given equations

To solve for y in the first equation

\begin{gathered} y=-3x+4 \\ y=-3(-1)+4 \\ y=3+4 \\ y=7 \end{gathered}

To solve for y in the second equation

\begin{gathered} y=(3)/(5)x-6 \\ y=(3)/(5)(-1)-6 \\ y=-(3)/(5)-6 \\ y=-6(3)/(5) \end{gathered}

To solve for y in the third equation

\begin{gathered} 6x=4y-2 \\ 6(-1)=4y-2 \\ -6=4y-2 \\ 4y=-6+2 \\ 4y=-4 \\ y=-(4)/(4) \\ y=-1 \end{gathered}

To solve for y in the fourth equation:

\begin{gathered} 5x+2y=7 \\ 5(-1)+2y=7 \\ -5+2y=7 \\ 2y=7+5 \\ 2y=12 \\ y=6 \end{gathered}
