Each tablet has a dosage of 1.25mg

You'll give the patient 5 and a half tablets, to calculate the total dosage of medicine you'll give the patient you can apply cross multiplication:

1tablet_____1.25mg drug

5.5tablets__xmg

x=(5.5\cdot1.25)/(1)=(55)/(8)=6.875

The total dosage is 6.875mg
