e(x) = d(x)+4

Explanation:

d(x) = ( x +2)^2 -4

Add 4 to each side

d(x) +4 = ( x +2)^2 -4+4

d(x) +4 = ( x +2)^2

We know that (x=2)^2 = e(x)

d(x) +4 = e(x)

e(x) = d(x)+4
