We have to solve the expression -42/(-3).

We can start by cancelling the negative signs:

(-42)/(-3)=(42)/(3)

We also know that 3 is a factor of 42: we can see that 14 times 3 is equal to 42, so 42/3 = 14:

(-42)/(-3)=(42)/(3)=14

Answer: 14
