To find the equation, we use the point-slope formula.

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Where,

\begin{gathered} m=-(3)/(5) \\ x_1=-5 \\ y_1=-3 \end{gathered}

Let's replace them.

\begin{gathered} y-(-3)=-(3)/(5)(x-(-5)) \\ y+3=-(3)/(5)x-3 \\ y=-(3)/(5)x-3-3 \\ y=-(3)/(5)x-6 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation is

y=-(3)/(5)x-6
