Step 1: Write out the definition of the function

h(x)=x-3

Step 2: Find h(4)

h(4) is the value of h when x = 4.

Therefore,

\begin{gathered} h(4)=(4)-3 \\ h(4)=4-3=1 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

h(4) = 1
