The quadratic formula is used to find the solution of quadratic functions.

Given any quadratic function in standard form:


ax^2+bx+c=0

Where

a is the coefficient of the quadratic term

b is the coefficient of the x-term

c is the constant of the quadratic function

The quadratic formula has the following shape:


x=\frac{b\pm\sqrt[]{b^2-4ac}}{2a}
