To change a function vertically we need to add a constant number to its expression. In this problem we have the original expression and the transformed one. To find how much it changed we can subtract the two expressions and the result will be the vertical shift. We have:


\begin{gathered} (100p+4500)-(100p+3000) \\ 100p+4500-100p-3000 \\ 1500 \end{gathered}
