We have the following function given:

y=x^2+96

If we want to test the symmetry respect y axis we need to check the following:

f(x)=f(-x)

And for this case we see that we satisfy the condition since:

y(-x)=(-x)^2+96=y(x)

And we can conclude that is not symmetric respect to the x axis since we don't satisfy this condition:

y(-x)=-y(x)

Final answer: This function is just symmetric respect the y axis
