250minutes of call

Step-by-step explanation:

First plan:

Let the number of minutes = m

The cost = $15 monthly fee + $0.19(m)

The cost = 15 + 0.19m

Second plan:

Let the number of minutes = m

The cost = $25 monthly fee + $0.15(m)

The cost = 25 + 0.15m

For the cost of the two plans to be the same, we equate both plans:

15 + 0.19m = 25 + 0.15m

collect like terms:

0.19m - 0.15m = 25 - 15

0.04m = 10

Multiply both sides by 100 to get rid of the 2 decimal point

0.04m × 100 = 10 × 100

4m = 1000

Divide both sides by 4:

4m/4 = 1000/4

m = 250

Hence, for 250minutes of call the cost of the two plans will be the same
