The equation for spent on the Netflix is,

C(x)=5+14.99x

(a)

Substitute 10 for x in the equation to obtain the value of C(10).

\begin{gathered} C(10)=5+14.99\cdot10 \\ =5+149.9 \\ =154.9 \end{gathered}

So, C(10)=$154.9.

(b)

Substitute 94.94 for C(x) in the equation and simplify to obtain the value of x.

\begin{gathered} 94.94=5+14.99x \\ 14.99x=89.84 \\ x=(89.94)/(14.99) \\ =6 \end{gathered}

The value of x is 9. So C(6)=$94.94.
