The y-intercept is an (x,y) point of the function with x = 0. In the case of Function A, we can see that y = 4 when x = 0. Then, the y-intercept of function A is the point (0,4).

On the other hand, the y-intercept also is the point where the line crosses the y-axis. Then, the y-intercept of Function B is the point (0,-3).

The y-coordinate of the y-intercept of function A is greater than the y-coordinate of the y-intercept of function B
