To draw the height of a gondola that rises 8 meters per second.

First, you have to determine which variable goes to the y-axis and what variable goes to the x-axis. Since the height varies with time, then the height of the gondola corresponds to the y-axis and the time corresponds to the x-axis.

Assuming that at time zero, the height of the gondola is in ground level, i.e. for x=0 → y=0.

You can construct a table with several values of x and y

Next, using the points, you can draw the function:
