The scatterplot appears to have a positive correlation.

Here's why:

We can generally draw a direct line on the scatterplot. See below:

As we can see above, the data points are following a trend wherein as x-increases, y-increases. Although some data points may deviate a little lower or a little higher than the line, they still follow the trend of the line which is towards the northeast (positive correlation).
