Population = 25,000

Decreasing rate = 30% = 30/100 = 0.3 (decimal form)

years = 5

Apply the formula:

A= P (1- r)^t

Where:

A = population after t years

P = initial population

r= decreasing rate

t= years

Replacing:

A= 25,000 (1-0.3)^5 = 4,202
