(1)x^2y-4xy^2-5x^2y+(2)xy^2=11x^2y+6xy^2

Add like terms on the left hand side:

x^2y((1)-5)+xy^2(-4+(2))

equating both sides:

\begin{gathered} (1)-5=11 \\ so\colon \\ (1)=16 \\ ----- \\ -4+(2)=6 \\ so\colon \\ (2)=10 \end{gathered}

Answer:

(1) = 16

(2) = 10
