The velocity of a sound wave as a function of the temperature of the air is given by the equation

V=331+\text{0}.6\cdot T

Where T is the temperature in degrees celsius.

Using this equation, calculate the velocity of a sound wave at 20 degrees Celsius:

V=331+0.6\cdot20=331+12=343

Answer: the velocity is 343 m/s
