First is to simplify the expression


\sqrt[]{74}=8.6

we can see that the approximate value of the square root of 74 is 8.6 and this values only lies between 8.5 and 9. Hence the squaroot of 74 can be expressed as;


8.5<\sqrt[]{74}<9.0

Hence option B is correct among the options
