A neighbor calls the police and complains that you are selling drugs at your home. The basis of

her complaint is that all during the day and night cars come and go. They pull up into your drive
and only stay 5-10 min. The Police arrive at your home, knock on your door, and tell you they
suspect you of selling drugs. Then ask to come into your home and look around. What are your
rights? What about probable cause? Do you have the right to refuse them entrance into your
home?

Answer: Yes, you do have the right to refuse entry.

Step-by-step explanation:

There is ZERO probable cause! You can refuse the right to entry. The only way they can search your home is with a Search Warrant.

Answer:

You have the right to refuse them into your home without a written document that gives them the right they can (this can be found under the fourth amendment). Your probable cause is the behavior involving all the cars coming in and out of your home
