The SkyWheel ride provides 3 complete revolutions and lasts approximately 10 minutes. If the diameter of the ferris wheel is 181 feet how far would you travel in those 3 revolutions? Use 3.14 for pi and round to the nearest hundredth

First, for the measure of each central angle between gondola cars:

There are 41 glass-enclosed gondolas, the sky wheel is a circumference so the total angle is 360°. In order to find the measure, we can do the division 360/41

360°/41=8.78°

Therefore the result is 8.78°

For the radius, we can use the fact that the radius is half of the diameter

So, radius=diameter/2

r=181/2=90.5

The radius is 90.5 ft
