⇒Now that you have been given the slope of the line/ the gradient of the line and a point you can easily plug in the known values in the general equation of a straight line which is y=mx+c where m is the slope and (x,y) are the given points. and c is the y-intercept

-7=-(5)/(9) (-1)+c\\-7=(5)/(9) +c\\c=-7-(5)/(9)\\ c=-(68)/(9)

The equation of the line now is:

y=-(5)/(9)x -(68)/(9)

GOODLUCK!!
