AThe equation of a line in slope interception form is: y = mx + b

Where m is the slope an b is the y-intercept

If the line is paralell to y + 4 = 7(x - 12) then it must have the same slope

We have to fin the slope of this line, so we will write the equation in the same form:

y + 4 = 7(x - 12) = 7x - 84

y + 4 = 7x - 84

y = 7x - 84 - 4 = 7x - 88

y = 7x - 88

Now we know that the slope is 7

Using this value of m = 7 and the point (-3,0) we can write:

y = 7x + b

0 = 7(-3) + b

0 = -21 + b

b = 21

Now we know tha the y-intercept is b = 21

We can write the equation:

y = mx + b

y = 7x + 21
