Perimeter of the original rectangle = 2*length + 2*width = 2*18 + 2*12 = 60 in

Perimeter of the scaled rectangle = 2*length + 2*width = 2*90 + 2*60 = 300 in

300/60 = 5, then the scaled rectangle's perimeter is 5 times longer than the original rectangle's perimeter
