the second degree trinomial is

9x^2-14x-8

we must find the factorization as

(ax+b)(x+c)

where

\begin{gathered} a=9 \\ b=4 \\ c=-2 \end{gathered}

hence,

9x^2-14x-8=(9x+4)(x-2)
