We have the next formula to calculate the slope between two points

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

where (x1,y1) is one point and the other point is (x2,y2)

in our case

(9,-2)=(x1,y1)

(6,4)=(x2,y2)

we substitute the values in the formula

m=(4+2)/(6-9)=(6)/(-3)=-2

the slope is -2
