The area of a circle is 144πm^2 what is the diameter of the circle?

If the area of the circle is 144 πm²

The formular for ; Area of a circle = πr²

substituting into the formular and then solve for r

144π = πr²

divide both-side of the equation by π

144 = r²

Take the square root of both-side

12 = r

But diameter = 2r

Hence diameter = 2 x 12

=24m
