tan = opposite/ adjacent

tan 60 = 8/a

a = 8/tan 60

a = 4.61880....

a = 4.6 cm (nearest tenth)

sin = opposite/ hypotenuse

sin 60 = 8/y

y = 8/sin 60

y = 9.2376.....

y = 9.2 cm (nearest tenth)

tan 30 = 8/b

b = 8/tan 30

b = 13.8564......

b = 13.9 cm (nearest tenth)

sin 30 = 8/x

x = 8/sin 30

x = 16 cm
