Step1: Write out the expression


1.3*10^6-6.8*10^5

Step2: Write both notations to have the same exponent


\begin{gathered} 13*10^(-1)*10^6-6.8*10^5 \\ 13*10^(6-1)-6.8*10^5 \end{gathered}
13*10^5-6.8*10^5

Since the exponent are now having the same powers, take the common factor


\begin{gathered} (13-6.8)*10^5 \\ 6.2*10^5 \end{gathered}

The third option is correct
