To answer this question we will use the following property:

(a^7)^{(1)/(7)}=a.

Subtracting 8 to the equation obtained on a) we get:

\begin{gathered} y-8=x^7(7)+8-8, \\ y-8=x^7(7). \end{gathered}

Dividing the above result by 7 we get:

\begin{gathered} (y-8)/(7)=(x^7(7))/(7), \\ (y-8)/(7)=x^7. \end{gathered}

Taking the above result to the power of 1/7 we get:

((y-8)/(7))^{(1)/(7)}=(x^7)^{(1)/(7)}.

Using the first property we get:

x=((y-8)/(7))^{(1)/(7)}.

Answer: x=g(y)= ((y-8)/7)^(1/7).is
