Note that in any standard form of the circle :

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

The center is at (h ,k) and radius is r

From the given problem :

(x + 5)^2 + (y + 6)^2 = 49

This can be written as :

(x + 5)^2 + (y + 6)^2 = 7^2

So the radius of the circle is 7 units

Now the formula for the circumference of a circle is :

C = 2πr

Substitute the radius :

C = 2π(7)

C = 43.98 units or 44.0 units
