In order to determine the distance the object falls down, use the following formula:

y=16t^2

Replace t1 = 3s and t2 = 3.3s into the previous equation and subtract both results, as follow:

\begin{gathered} y_1=16(3)^2=144ft \\ y_2=16(3.3)^2=174.24ft \\ y_2-y_1=174.24ft-144ft=30.24ft \end{gathered}

Hence, the distance traveled by the object in the falling down is 30.24 ft
