Problem

8. If a projectile flies north 387 meters in 5.8 seconds, what is its velocity?

Solution

For this problem we can use the efinition of velocity given by:

v= d/t

The distance d = 387 m and the time t = 5.8 s , then we can replace and we got:

v= 387m/5.8s = 66.72 m/s

And the final answer would be v= 66.72 m/s
