According to the given data, the values that of x that will make x^2=16, would be the following:

First would be the value of 4, because of the following calculation:

4^2= 16 because 4^2=4*4=16, therefore, one value of x that will make x^2=16 is 4.

The other value that will make x^2=16 will be -4.

-4^2=-4*-4=16. When you multiply numbers with the negative sign you will get as a result a positive number, hence if 4^2=-4*-4=16 that means that the other value of x that will make x^2=16 will be -4

Hence, the right option would be B 4 and -4
