Standard Form of LIne:

Ax+By=C

So, that is basically putting x and y's to the left side and the constant to the right side.

We have:

y=(2)/(3)x+8

Let's get rid of the fraction by multiplying the whole equation by 3, to get:

\begin{gathered} 3*(y=(2)/(3)x+8) \\ 3y=2x+24 \end{gathered}

Now re-arranging and putting in standard form:

-2x+3y=24
