Let us find the slope first

\begin{gathered} m=\text{slope = }(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ m=(1-6)/(0+5) \\ m=-(5)/(5)=-1 \end{gathered}

The equation can be found as follows using the points (0 ,1)

\begin{gathered} m=\frac{y-y_1}{x-x_1_{}_{}} \\ m=(y-1)/(x-0) \\ -1=(y-1)/(x) \\ -x=y-1 \\ y=-x+1 \end{gathered}
