The percent change is a decrease.
The formula for percent change is the new value minus the original value divided by the original value times 100.
Percent change= y2-y1/y2 x 100
y1 is the original value and y2 is the new value.
So it would be:
37-50/50 x 100=
-13/50 x 100=
-0.26 x 100=
-26%
-26% means a 26% decrease.
