We need to prove that an odd number plus an odd number is an even number.

Note that an odd number can be written as (2x + 1)

From the problem, we have two odd numbers :


(2m+1)+(2n+1)=\_m+\_n+\_

Simplify the expression :


(2m+1)+(2n+1)=2m+2n+2

Factor out 2 :


=2(m+n+1)

Note that any number multiplied by 2 is always an even number.

Therefore, the sum is even.
