I need help with the pearson index

Mean = 16.5

median =15

s.d =4.2


\begin{gathered} \text{pearson's index}= \\ \frac{3(\text{ mean - median)}}{s\tan dard\text{ deviation}} \end{gathered}
\frac{3\text{ (16.5 - 15)}}{4.2}
\begin{gathered} =(3(1.5))/(4.2) \\ =(4.5)/(4.2) \\ =1.07143 \end{gathered}

Since the Person's Index is not bewteen -1 and 1 then it is not symmetric

if it was -1 or less then it would have been skewed to the left

If it was 1 or greater it would have been skewed to the right
