Given:

Number of candies in a store = (3⁶) × 3⁰

To solve this all we have to do is to add the exponents 6 and 0.

Using law of indices, we have:


A^m\ast A^n=^{}A^(m+n)


3^6\ast3^{0\text{ }}=3^{6+0\text{ }}=3^6=729

The total number of candies in the store = 729 candies
