Given the following equation:


\text{ y = }(3)/(2)x

For this type of equation, determining the x and y intercepts will not give you two points, thus, we will be determining the coordinates of at least two points that pass through the graph at x = 2 and x = 4.

At x = 2,

y = 3x/2

y = 3(2)/2

y = 3

(2, 3)

At x = 4,

y = 3(4)/2

y = 3(2)

y = 6

(4, 6)
