Basically, a whole number receives a 1 for it's denominator, no matter where it is. If you're adding, subtracting, multiplying or even dividing fractions, do that first, if you're dividing two fractions, the fraction on the right makes both the numerator and the denominator swap places. This only applies to the right. Consider the underlined equations as the black bar that divides the numerator and the denominator from each other.
