You have the following function:

2x=(12)/(5)+(6)/(5)y

In order to solve for y, proceed as follow:

- Subtract 12/5 both sides

2x-(12)/(5)=(6)/(5)y

- Multiply by 5/6 and simplify

\begin{gathered} (5)/(6)(2x-(12)/(5))=(5)/(6)\cdot(6)/(5)y \\ (10)/(6)x-(60)/(30)=y \\ (5)/(2)x-2=y \\ y=(5)/(2)x-2 \end{gathered}

Hence, the solution for y is:

y = 5/2 x - 2
