looking at the table

For x=0, y=8

that means

a=8

`y=8(b)^x`

Find out the value of b

For x=1, y=16

substitute

`\begin{gathered} 16=8(b)^1 \\ 16=8(b) \\ (16)/(8)=b \\ b=2 \end{gathered}`

therefore

the equation is

`y=8(2)^x`
