Given data:

The firts expression given is 4x+2/3.

The second expression given is x-1.

\begin{gathered} (4x+(2)/(3))*(1)/(x-1)=(12x+2)/(3(x-1)) \\ =(12x-12+14)/(3(x-1)) \\ =(12(x-1)+14)/(3(x-1)) \\ =4+(14)/(3(x-1)) \end{gathered}

Thus, when the given term is divided we get 14/3 as remainder.
