We have that the given area of the square is 15 in^2

In this case we need to remember the formula to calculate the area of a square

A=s^2

where A is the area and s the length of the side

We substitute

15=s^2

Therefore

s=\sqrt[]{15}

ANSWER

side length= sqrt(15)

\text{side length=}\sqrt[]{15}
