Area of that circular shaped object is given by:

A=\pi r^2

Where:

r = 9ft

π = 3.14

Then, substitute the values:

A=(3.14)(9)^2=3.14(81)=254.34ft^2

Next, we have that 1 m = 3.2808 ft therefore:

A=254.34\text{ }ft^2*\frac{1\text{ m}^2}{(3.2808\text{ ft})^2}

Solve:

A=(254.34)/((3.2808)^2)=23.629\text{ m}^2

Round to the nearest hundredth is 23.63 m^2

Answer: 23.63 m^2
