\begin{gathered} -3x-6y=45 \\ -5y=x \end{gathered}

To solve by substitution method:

1. Substitute the x in the first equation by the value of x given in the second equation:

-3(-5y)-6y=45

2. Solve y:

\begin{gathered} 15y-6y=45 \\ 9y=45 \\ \\ (9)/(9)y=(45)/(9) \\ \\ y=5 \end{gathered}

3. Use the value of y to find x:

\begin{gathered} x=-5y \\ x=-5(5) \\ x=-25 \end{gathered}Then, the solution for the given system of equations is: x= -25 and y=5 (-25,5)
