Buying price of store = $10

the selling price of $21.50.

So the percent markup:

\begin{gathered} PM=(21.5-10)/(21.5)*100 \\ PM=(11.5)/(21.5)*100 \\ PM=53.48 \end{gathered}

So the percent markup is 53.48%
